Church of Sant’Antonio – Divina Foligno Skip to main content
The Church of Sant’Antonio di Perticani, which is a small hamlet of Foligno, most likely dates back to the 13th century. Its history is closely related to that of another sacred building located nearby and demolished after the mid-1600s, i.e., the Church of Santo Stefano. From an architectural point of view, the structure has a gabled façade with a central mullioned window, a rectangular plan with lateral rooms at the bottom and a late-built bell tower. The church contains interesting fresco remains attributed to Pierantonio Mezzastris, a well-known Foligno painter active in the second half of the 1400s: they depict the Madonna nursing the Child flanked by San Rocco.
