Hoffman River Park – Divina Foligno Skip to main content
To the north of Foligno, where the Topino River enters the city, restoration work was carried out on a series of disused industrial plants and warehouses with the aim of transforming what was once a degraded area into an urban river park. The park is named after the former brick production plant, the Hoffman Furnaces, established in the San Giovanni Profiamma area in the early twentieth century for its vicinity to water. The hydraulic works that were necessary for the construction of the plant have been restored over time for their historical value and were partly repurposed for their new recreational functions as part of the city park. The Hoffman River Park, with its pedestrian and bicycle paths, is today a place where to spend a few hours in contact with nature just outside the city center.
