The San Giovanni Profiamma area is affected by the passage of several long-distance itineraries. In addition to the Franciscan Way of the Marca that connects Assisi to Ascoli Piceno, other itineraries cross through this area from Spello: the Via Lauretana, a path that from Cortona leads to Assisi and then reaches Loreto, and the Path of Olives, a local itinerary between Spoleto and Assisi. From the intersection towards Scanzano up to the Altolina Park, the route follows the layout of these overlapping itineraries.
