The shrine of Saint Anne is protected by a small building, located where the road leading to Belfiore separates from the main road. This place of worship, which is strongly connected to Belfiore as it also delimits its border with Foligno, becomes filled with the locals for the celebrations held on July 26 in honor of Saint Anne. Of great value is the fresco that decorates the aedicule’s interior, datable to the second half of the 15th century, painted by the Foligno master Pierantonio Mazzastris and representing Saint Anne and the Madonna with Child, surrounded by a large series of saints and decorations enriching this extraordinary artwork.
