The Five-Corner Tower, so called for its particular geometric shape, is located near the river Topino. From it you can observe both the cormorants resting on the plane trees and the celestial bodies, thanks to an astronomical observatory installed in recent years. The building was erected to defend the walls built by Emperor Frederick II and today it represents the distinctive architectural element of this area. The seventeenth-century Jacobilli garden spreads over an area of two thousand square meters within a perimeter made up of brick and cobblestone walls and a stretch of the town walls, easily recognizable by the presence of slits and a turret. The small terrace overlooking the portal, which is clearly visible between the sections of the wall, allows you to see the medieval moat.
