Majesty of the Incancellata (or of the Bennati) – Divina Foligno Skip to main content
The Majesty of the Incancellata is positioned in an important crossroads and it was built at the end of the 15th century. The painting that currently decorates the niche is a work of 1996, made to replace the original fresco detached in 1878. The latter, to be attributed to Pierantonio Mezzastris, is currently kept in the Civic Museum of Montefalco and represents the Madonna and Child, the Agnus Dei, Saints Jerome, Bernardino, Nicola da Tolentino and Clare of Assisi.
