Assisi-Spoleto cycle path (Trevi) – Divina Foligno Skip to main content
From this point on, the route develops along the Assisi-Spoleto Cycle Route, in the direction of the city of Saint Francis. The route is over 50 km long and from Assisi goes down to the valley crossing Rivotorto, Cannara and Bevagna. From Bevagna it proceeds in the direction of Spoleto running along the whole valley framed by Montefalco, Trevi and Campello sul Clitunno. At this point, the route, bordered just to the east by the Clitunno River, almost perfectly follows the course of the Maroggia stream, which becomes Teverone between Casevecchie di Foligno and Bevagna. The Teverone, built for reclamation needs in 1562, joins the Clitunno immediately west of Bevagna, giving life to the Timia River, a tributary of the Topino.
