Acquatino Tower is a square-plan tower built starting from the 13th century. In ancient times it was guarded by the Lamparelli family and was part of the defensive system constituted by the Fossato delle Carbonare and dismantled in the 16th century, which also included the nearby Tower of Quadrano. The tower was perhaps the site of pre-existing Roman remains, in an area widely occupied due to the massive activity of organizing the fertile lands of the valley implemented in Roman times. Along the way, a short distance from the tower, stands one of the many Majesties by Pierino Stortini, dated 1930.
