We are on the Assisi-Spoleto cycle route, an itinerary of over 50 km. From the city of Saint Francis, the cycle path descends to the valley through Rivotorto, Cannara and Bevagna. From here it proceeds towards Spoleto running along the whole valley framed by Montefalco, Trevi and Campello sul Clitunno. At this point, the route, bordered just to the east by the Clitunno River, follows the course of the Teverone stream, which becomes Maroggia after Casevecchie di Foligno. The Teverone, built for reclamation needs in 1562, joins the Clitunno immediately west of Bevagna, giving life to the Timia River, a tributary of the Topino.
