This museum is based within the Canoniche Palace, near the Cathedral of St Feliciano. Entering from Largo Carducci, next to the main façade of the Cathedral, it will be possible to observe the majestic structures of the bell tower, of the Canoniche Palace and of the Cathedral itself. At the base of the church there are the museum bookshop and the ticket office. A suggestive staircase leads to the first floor, which hosts temporary exhibitions, while on the second floor there is the heart of the collection. Here we can observe the fifteenth-century statue of St Feliciano, recently recovered and placed in a path showing the construction phases of the Cathedral. Some works from the legacy of the Roscioli family are also part of this first museum nucleus, including two busts by Bernini. The itinerary continues with the exhibition of works of different origins, while the last part preserves some ancient processional crosses, the wonderful 14th-century rock crystal reliquary of the True Cross and part of the precious silverware of the Cathedral. The Crypt of St Feliciano is also part of the museum itinerary. http://www.museifoligno.it/i-musei/museo-capitolare-diocesano Opening times Friday to Sunday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. / 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Prices Single admission € 4.00. info: tel 0742 351209 museodiocesano@diocesidifoligno.it
