35. Lezi – Marchetti Palace

With a seventeenth-century layout, this palazzo was completed towards the end of the eighteenth century as the residence of the Lezi family, related to the Marchetti family. In the years following the earthquake of 1832 it became the residence of the papal governor. Of note is the decorative cycle inspired by mythological themes created by Marcello Leopardi.
