This oratory is located in via dell’Annunziata. It seems to be the work of Francesco di Bartolomeo da Pietrasanta. The construction of the structure dates back to 1494, while the façade visible today was renovated in 1830 by Vincenzo Vitali. Among the frescoes that adorn the interior it is possible to admire the Baptism of Jesus by Perugino, on the altar of St. John the Baptist. Basically, the oratory has been a public property since its origin, when a miraculous event took place in a house that constituted the first nucleus of the structure, determining its municipal acquisition and the consecration by Bishop Luca Borsciani Cibo, whose coat of arms is visible on the vault. On the altar of the Annunciation, inside an elegant wooden aedicule beautifully carved and gilded, there is the miraculous image of the Virgin. In the background there is a fresco dated 1575, attributed to Ercole Ramazzani di Arcevia, depicting the Holy Spirit between angels and St. Feliciano and blessed Pietro Crisci and the Eternal Father among cherubs in the lunette.
