Recently restored, the fountain called "Troccola" is located just below the town of Volperino, to which it belongs.
The font has a vault with stone ashlars on the left which dates back to the twelfth century: it is certainly the oldest part of the whole structure, with its overall shape having been the result of several construction phases.
