By climbing up the western slope of Monte Santo Stefano one may reach a panoramic area at an altitude of 1220 meters above sea level. Located at the center of a vast ridge, by looking east one may note the summit of Monte di Morro, a toponym identifying the eastern portion of the relief; however, following the southwestern edge of the summit area, one may note the highest peak, which is 1230 meters high.
Monte Santo Stefano is positioned between the Menotre Valley and the reliefs close to Foligno and is entirely made of limestone. Its peaks offer a unique panorama, ranging from the Apennines to the mountains of central Umbria, from the Serano-Brunette peaks to Mount Subasio and the mountains of Nocera Umbra.
