Turning our gaze towards Spello, we have a splendid view of Mount Subasio, one of the seven Regional Parks of Umbria. The Park consists of a mountain system comprising the Mount Subasio, which reaches an altitude of 1290 m a.s.l., and a series of reliefs that are around 1000 m a.s.l. The summit of Subasio is today almost completely occupied by secondary grasslands, originated as a result of anthropic intervention, while the slopes are occupied by mixed woods. In the basal part, starting from an altitude of about 550 m a.s.l., the natural areas give way to agricultural areas represented almost exclusively by olive groves.
